WMS SOAP, Day 2

Hi there! Thanks for joining me for Day 2 of the Waltzingmouse Stamp of Approval Parade. I thought I would use today's Sketch Challenge and the Bitty Banners stamp set for today's project. These little cuties are 3 by 3 morsels of yummy! I like to try and find unique uses or different techniques for these images to share with you. We all love them for what they are intended for, but when they can be something more that's even better, right? I toyed with flowers, kites, and suns, but ultimately used them just as the cute little banners that they are. But a goof up did end up being a bit of an inspiration, though! Here's a closer look.. I was in a bit of a rush, and accidentally adhered my stamp upside down on my block. So when I stamped it, it stamped a solid image... and lightbulb! I then just flipped it over and layered the patterned image on top. Super! See, here is the solid image: And here is the patterned one on top! I went for complimentary colors, but the sky is the limit! Here are close ups of the other two cards. This screams little boy to me. Maybe tucked in a lunch box? And those springy colors again. Each of the sentiments are from Frame It - that set is loaded with great sayings. Ok, so that's me for today. Here are the rest of my dear friends that are joining me:

Don't forget to check out the WMS Sketch Challenge Blog today, too. We love it when you play along! I hope you'll stop back tomorrow. I'm trying something new here on the ol' blog! Have a great Saturday!
