It is Saturday, so I am here to bring you another Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge.
We're up to WMSC10 already, and today's sketch is a very CAS one - I admit it was a bit open-ended for me.. I sat for a long time wondering what to do. Here is the sketch:
And here is my card:
A little lovey-dovey with Wanda's Pantry. This card makes me think very much of the Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland.
The label was stamped in Cherry Cobbler - a delicious new color from Stampin' Up! I colored in the flourishes with a Sand Spica Glitter pen. The corner treatments are hearts that were trimmed down to fit. I also used one of the tags from Very Vintage Labels No. 4 on either side of my label. The background patterned paper was made using the arrow from Sweethearts.
The sketch challenge will remain open until Thursday, 11:59 EST. You can link up your entry on the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge Blog. Top Mice will be announced along with the new sketch next Saturday! Be sure to visit the blog and check out what the other DT members and Mischief Makers have created for the sketch challenge!
A few annoucements before you go..
Tuesday, August 17th is the next Friends of Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz. You can find the details on the WMS blog - this month's theme is vintage/shabby chic.
WMS is also having another challenge to create a project using one of their free templates - check the WMS Blog for more details. Hurry, this contest is over at the end of the day Sunday. A free stamp set is up for grabs!
Enjoy your weekend!
