Circle Card Color Challenge

Hello my dears,

I don't know about you, but I am sort of intimidated by shaped cards. I had honestly never made a circle card, so when Embellish posted their next challenge - to create a circle card - I thought it a great time to try.

Here's the challenge:

And here is the card I created (the first of two!):

Excuse the lousy picture - this was pretty impossible to photograph well! The card base is Aqua Mist - I added some glitter snow drifts and some trees to set the scene. The card front is a piece of acetate which was stamped with snowflakes from Snowfall. Then I stamped and trimmed a snowman (from Made of Snow) and added him to the front. I was thinking snowglobe - get it?

The sentiment - brrr... - is from Snowfall Additions. I stamped it first in Aqua Mist and it didn't really show up. So I stamped it again in Dark Chocolate. That didn't look so great either, so I went over it with a white gel pen. At that point, I gave up so I didn't ruin it further! I think I should have picked something a little easier to read in the first place. Oh well - lesson learned! Here's another shot that might be a bit easier to see.

Stop back later - I'll share the other circle card I made too!
