Which Witch?

One of the things I love about Halloween cards is how silly they can be. You can combine crazy colors or add spider webs to your cards. I'm giving this disclaimer because today's card is a little silly. When I showed it to my husband and told him my little inspiration story, he gave me the 'you're crazy' look. So..

It cracks me up :)

When I saw the fantastic silhouette witch in the Halloween Party set it reminded me of the witch silhouette from Spooky Sweets II and I thought 'Which Witch' and the rest just happened.

Both witches were stamped with Vintage Photo Distress Ink onto Vintage Cream cardstock. I crumpled and inked and distressed. The sentiment and witch names were computer generated. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye and the card base is True Black. So there's a little silliness for your Friday, ok?

Some of you asked earlier this week for the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookie recipe I talked about. I swear I found this on Melissa Phillips' blog (she posts great recipes in addition to her amazing cards) but can't for the life of me find it again. So here it is from my notes:

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup Canned Pumpkin (this is approximately half of a 14 oz. can)
1/2 cup Butter
1 T Grated Orange Peel (I have never added this - they are great without it, so no sweat if you don't have an orange)
1 t Vanilla
1 cup Sugar
2 cups Flour (can be white or whole wheat)
1 t Baking Powder
1 t Baking Soda
1 t Cinnamon
1/4 t Salt
Chocolate chips (add as many as you like - I use about half a regular-sized bag)

Heat oven to 375. Mix wet ingredients together then stir in dry ingredients. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes, give or take. Eat and enjoy! I have found that this recipe makes approximately 2-1/2 dozen two-inch cookies. They are definitely a favorite!

I almost forgot! Jenny Gropp, a guest designer for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps is giving away some great PPRS blog candy! Check it here. Hurry, the contest ends this Sunday at 8pm EST! Good luck!

Have a fantastic evening and a wonderful weekend!
