SS Oct DT Challenge

Today is the 15th of the month, so it is time for another Serendipity Stamps Design Team challenge! Our challenge this month was to create a gift or ornament. Mine is a little of both!

This is a small picture frame ornament (2.5" x 3.5" opening), which can be set up on a table or hung on a tree. I stamped the Chickadees stamp (682E) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Copic markers. The two Chickadees were stamped a second time and adhered with foam tape for dimension. The sentiment is called And the Song (087D) and was stamped separately on a piece of cardstock, matted with some music-themed patterned paper and adhered on a slight angle (for interest and space :). I added a few little details including glitter, some adhesive pearls, and some faux stitching with a quilter's tracing wheel. Here is a close-up:

I hope you enjoyed my project for this month's challenge! Please make sure to visit the other DT members to see what beauties they've created!
