Good morning! This week's DT challenge at Serendipity Stamps was to create a card based on our 'fantasy' life - the life we would have if we could do whatever we wanted. This was not hard at all for me! If I had unlimited time and money, I would without a doubt travel the world!

Stamps: Spring in Provence (601H), Postcard (330F) - Serendipity Stamps
Cardstock: Almost Amethyst, Sahara Sand - Stampin' Up!; Vintage Cream - Papertrey Ink
Ink: Rich Cocoa Memento Ink - Tsukineko; Sahara Sand - Stampin' Up!; Antique Linen Distress Ink - Ranger Industries
Other: Postage Stamp edge punch - Fiskars; Doily - Wilton; Copic Markers - Imagination International
The image I chose to use on my card is called Spring in Provence. I thought it would be fun to create it sort of like a post card - I would be traveling, after all!
I stamped the image with Memento ink and colored it with Copics. In my head, I wanted the image to look like a faded photograph - how did I do? I did a bit of poking around before coloring my image.. Provence is in the South of France and is now definitely on my list of places I'd like to see - it looks breathtaking!

Gorgeous Anya! You travel more than anyone I know so I'm sure you'll get to Provence. Be sure to send me a Post Card - I'm just as sure I'll still be stuck here in Missouri!
ReplyDeleteI love the aged softness of your image. Great idea to stamp it in brown. Making it into a postcard was so creative!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! That stamp is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLovely! You may want to read Peter Mayle's books, one is called A Year in Provence. :)
ReplyDeleteAnya, this card is so soft and beautifully colored. I love the added touch of the doily.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, Anya!! I love the doily too!!
