Wow! Can you believe that today the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge is one year old?! I don't know about you, but I've loved the 52 weeks of inspiring sketches that we've had. I keep my old sketches in a notebook that I flip through when I need a little inspiration, so its a gift that keeps on giving! ;) Did you know that there is an archive of all the old sketches in the WMS Gallery?
This week, the Mischief Makers and Design Team members participating have chosen their favorite sketches from the past year to create this week's card. You'll have this pool of sketches to choose from to make your card - isn't that fun? All the details and info you need can be found on the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge blog. I have decided to use WMSC5 for my card this week.
And here is the card I made for this week, I tweaked the sketch a bit, but that's what its all about - inspiration!
Boy, I love the look of the woodgrain from Way Out West stamped in white! This is a favorite sentiment of mine (from Afternoon Tea Sentiments)- but as much as I love it, I have an overabundant need for encouragement cards right now and that kinda stinks!
The Very Vintage Labels No. 18 frame was embossed in white and cut using my pinking shears.
We hope you'll play along with us this week - head to the Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge Blog to link up your creation. In addition to the Top Mice awards, a free stamp set is awarded each week to a random player!
My sweet friend Julia Aston also has some blog candy to give away this week, so head over to her blog to find out how you can win your own copy of the new Say It Loud set (my favorite)!
Have a great day!
Anya
