Showers of Blessings

What a lovely evening. I am sitting on the porch of the house we are renting on the lake. It is very quiet save for a few buggy noises and some ducks... so nice.

Today's card is another that I made for a magazine submission that was not picked up. Simple little thing using Scattered Showers.

The card base is Scarlet Jewel followed by a piece of Lavender Moon from the 2008 Bitty Box Basics patterned paper collection. I added a strip of Lemon Tart, Lavender Moon, and Scarlet Jewel that had been punched with the Apron Lace border punch.

The umbrella top was stamped in Scarlet Jewel onto Lemon Tart, trimmed and adhered to the card. The sentiment and umbrella handle were both stamped right onto the patterned paper. Simple, easy card. This was a sketch challenge, so I have a few other cards I have yet to share that I made following this sketch.

Thanks for visiting tonight - I hope you have a peaceful evening.
