Hi there!
Last night I sat down at my desk and realized I had no crafty obligations! I work well with a schedule, but sometimes its fun to make something just for the heck of it. So I thought I'd try this week's Get Sketchy challenge from My Favorite Things and combine it with the new First Class Friend set that was just waiting to get inky.
Here is the sketch:
And here is the card that I made.
As I said, I used the new First Class Friend stamp set and coordinating dies. All the little bits and pieces in this set are fun to combine. I paired my stamped, die-cut piece with some October Afternoon patterned paper and an embossed piece of Wisteria Wonder cardstock. I feel like I am the worst ribbon-tier in the world, so I opted for a button instead of a bow.
Isn't this fun? My closest girl friends live out-of-town, so cards like these are perfect for a little hello. I am so grateful that you stopped by today - thank you!
And while we're on the subject of thanks, I would like to thank the lovely ladies over at the Play Date Cafe for choosing my card as the Cup of the Week. I sure do love playing along with these challenges! You should see the gorgeous colors for this week! :)
Have a great day!
