Sweetest Flower

I am SO excited to share this card with you, I just love it! I enjoy finding a sketch or color combination that I like and building my card from there. It helps me get a start on things. This card was inspired by a similar layout I saw in Paper Crafts magazine and a color combination I saw in a SU! Simply Scrappin' Kit. I really, really love Wild Wasabi. So, here's my card!

Love it! As I said, the colors were taken from the Crew Kids Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit. They are Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Wild Wasabi, and white.

I started with a standard card base in Wild Wasabi and stamped the large layered flower from PTI's Text Boxed in the same color ink. The Regal Rose scallops were made using my small corner rounder punch. I added a strip of PTI SS White and adhered it to the Pretty Ink Pink main panel.

The image is stamped using Regal Rose on SS White. The flower centers are stamped in PIP and I added a rhinestone in each. This was mounted on a Wild Wasabi panel and the corners pierced. I adhered this piece to the front of the card using foam tape. The sentiment is from Green Thumb and was stamped in Palette Burnt Umber. I stamped the small layered flower from Text Boxed with PIP onto the sentiment to tie everything together. I stamped the large and small flowers together on the inside of the card as well.

I don't know what it is about this card, but I love it. So much so that I made 3 more to send as RAKs! I hope those ladies like it as much as I do. Hopefully I will have some free time this weekend for some stamping. I don't have to be at the store on Saturday, so maybe I will squeeze some time in then. My mom and I are planning on hitting a local bead store on Saturday, but we'll see if the weather will cooperate! I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Thank you for stopping by!
