Put the Kettle On

Happy Saturday! I hope your day is great so far.

Here is today's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge:

And here is my card:

Love these cute peachy tea cups.

If you're like me and can't have white baker's twine with cream cardstock, I recommend trying the Tim Holtz Distress Stain. The liquid formula makes it easy to age those accents - a little easier I find that running the twine through your inkpad (although that's a good solution in a pinch, too!) This is Antique Linen, of course!

We hope you'll play along with us this week - head to the Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge Blog to link up your creation. In addition to the Top Mice awards, a free stamp set is awarded each week to a random player!

Have a great day!

  1. What wonderful colors on this Anya - the teacup bg looks super behind your pretty label sentiment! Have a wonderful long weekend dear friend!

  2. GREAT card. I'd like to mimic it to invite friends over for tea.

  3. Lovely card, Anya! The peach and blue color scheme is beautifully soft. And I love all the little tea cups.

  4. This is so pretty, Anya! I love the soft colors you used and the background stamping is perfect!

  5. Such a great idea to make your own tea cup paper! I forget to do that with bigger images and the effect is so fabulous. Love the soft colors you chose, and you are SO right about the white in the twine! I always use cream paper, it seems, and end up passing up my twine for a time I use a white card thanks for the tip!!

Thank you for stopping by - I love to hear from you!
