Thanks Friend

I'm tapping into my photo archives to share a card with you today.

This was one of the first cards I made with PTI's Rosie Posie set.

When I stamped the hexagon pattern, I left a space for my sentiment. I just used the end of the stamp and lined it up above and below the space I wanted to leave open. A row of hearts inside the hexagons and a little sentiment from Mixed Messages was just the thing to finish it off.

You could do this in any color combination, and probably just about any occasion, too.  Fun stuff!  Thanks for stopping in!

Anya

  1. LOVE it! Haven't tried the hexagons yet. Actually my stamp "room" has been quite lonely lately - not enough time, not enough time. Sigh.

  3. Anya, You are the Queen of stamping backgrounds! I've been staring at this thinking .... how in the world did you leave the space for the sentiment? You explained it well, but I guess I am a scardy cat! Everything is stamped perfectly and I love the row of hearts that line up with your sentiment. I would probably have to stamp this about 100 times before I got it right! Well done - you inspire me to try new things and take the leap!
