Visions of Sugarplums...

That's what this card makes me think of! Wait until you see the sketch for today's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge. It is a doozy!!

I pulled out my sets and tried to decide what I wanted to use for those circles. I went back and forth between leaves and flowers, but finally decided on this - my visions of dancing sugarplums!

I couldn't resist, and I hope you don't mind seeing a Christmas card so soon!

I stamped the dashed floral (or snowflake, eh?) background (from Pic-Nic Patterns) onto a square of cardstock and then trimmed it into quarters before inking the edges and stitching it back together. Love this cozy color combination.

The images and sentiment are from Oven Fresh Gingerbread Joy and Half Baked Gingerbread Joy. I simply stamped up the different images I wanted to use and cut them out, adding a bit of glitter here and there. I arranged them on my card until I found a configuration I liked and adhered them with dimensionals. Too cute.

SO! This week there is a prize up for grabs for participating in the sketch challenge. If we reach 100 players, one lucky person will win a stamp set of their choice. AND - you can wait until the July release to pick! Nothing beats free stamps except NEW, free stamps!! Ooh I can't wait for you guys to see the stamps being released this month. I adore them.

This sketch challenge will remain open until Thursday, 11:59 pm EST. You can link up your entry right on the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge Blog. I hope you'll play along!

Have a great Saturday!
