Cheers!

My sweet Sister-in-law's birthday was last week, and my new Papertrey stamps arrived just in time for her birthday card. Day at the Beach was a perfect fit for her upbeat, fun personality. I knew she would appreciate color and whimsy - two things this set screams!

Things I love about this card:

- Making this card was the official start of my love affair with the stripe stamp from Let Freedom Ring. I used it for another yummy plaid.

- Glitter! I stamped the Sea Breeze, Strawberry Margarita, and Peach Daiquiri (sound good, don't they? ;) first with ink and then with my Glue Pad so I could glitterfy. I just love all the drink accessories that come in the set (what do you think of the little lime slices in the scallops?).

- Happy accidents. I originally intended to adhere the main panel straight across the card, but as I was moving things around, it shifted and I decided I liked the look on an angle. Something different!

- Coordination. I love using my Copics to color clear adhesive rhinestones.. that way I have a match every time!

Thank you again for stopping by, I hope you have a fantastic weekend. I have a list of projects I need to complete before our trip the week after next, so I may not see you until Monday. Enjoy!

-Anya
