Cute and Cuddly

Happy Thursday to you! I hope you're having a great week.

I am feeling proud of myself today, as I finished the Papertrey Princesses challenge and Jen's SFYTT ahead of time! This time around, the Princesses challenge was issued by Michele, and it was a great one: to color something on our projects. I can always use more coloring practice!

I combined this challenge with Jen's SFYTT and came up with this cavity-inducing card:

I broke out Baby Button Bits, the freebie I chose for my GSS win. I am not a huge fan of the whole button set idea, but I liked that there were images in this set where a button (or other embellishment) was optional.

I went with the little teddy bear image, stamped it four times, and used my Copics to color them in. I actually worked the patterned paper into my design - picking something that went with the bears that I had already colored. It may have been a better idea to have done this the other way around, but it all worked out ok in the end. :)

Loved the sketch and loved the challenge!

Now before you scoot away, the Waltzingmouse Stamps new release previews are starting today! Claire, Julia, Lisa, and Bonnie are all sharing sneaky peeks! Three new sets will be released on Monday March 1. The WMS DT will be previewing these sets up to that point and then we'll have another blog hop (with prizes - ooh!) for the release on Monday!

Thanks for your visit today and I'll see you soon!
