From Your Secret Admirer

Happy Release Day!

Later today, Claire will be releasing the Sweethearts set for sale in the Waltzingmouse Stamps store. Keep checking for updated information!

I have two things to share with you today - I decided that I just couldn't wait until later in the week! I will post my second project a little later today, so please come back and visit for that one!

Today's card found its starting point from Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge and the Embellish Magazine Hearts Color Challenge. I love when I can do double-duty!

Cute! The idea for the heart in the envelope came over the weekend while standing in the merchandise return line for Kohl's. It was looong, but lucky for me, they had their V-day decorations out - so I pulled out my notebook and sketched a few ideas!

I stamped the sentiments on a curve to fit inside the oval. I just winged the envelope, making changes as I went along. The heart was punched out with the EK Success large heart punch. I added a strip of pink hearts, some black stitching, and a fab black vintage button. Good stuff!

I hope you enjoy it - I will be back later today with more goodies!
