Hello, Hello

It is Monday.
Again.

The weekends sure fly by.

I have a little fun for this week's CASE Study Challenge. I was inspired to create something I almost never do - a clean, one-layer card. It just isn't a style that I feel really comfortable with (or think I do very well), but its good to experiment!

This is Teri Anderson's bright card chosen for inspiration this week:

And my take...

I couldn't resist giving the new Watercolor Wonder set from PTI a go.

I stamped the brush strokes in the different colors Teri used on her card. I spent a lot more time planning out where I wanted them to go than it might look. ;) The sentiment is from the Mini Blooms set, repeated three times.

And that will do it for today! It will be a full week here on the little blog, so I hope you'll stop by again! Take care :)

  6. This stamp set didn't do anything for me when introduced. Nothing the design team created was inspiring. But I love this card. I like the placement and colors. It actually looks like it was done with a brush. Thanks for sharing.
